History of MBA-FSI

MBA-FSI: 10 years of excellence in developing financial services executives

The MBA-FSI started its first edition in January 1999. Twenty-two participants, coming from six different countries, enrolled for this edition, which clearly had a European focus. In the meantime, 4 more groups completed the programme, which over the years adopted an increasingly global approach by adding modules in North America and China. Currently, the sixth MBA-FSI edition is running. Thirty participants from ten different countries worldwide started their journey in October 2008 and will graduate in September 2010.

Within its 10 years of existence, the MBA-FSI programme has developed from a European entrepreneurial initiative into a global, international executive education programme. The joining of HEC Montréal as an organising partner and the collaboration with BiMBA in Beijing, are excellent examples of how this programme has established collaborations with highly regarded international institutions and faculty improve the programme and increase its scope world-wide..
