Admission Requirements

We have specific admission criteria for the MBA-FSI. As its international character and focus on the integration of banking, insurance, and investment are the unique features of this programme, the MBA-FSI programme management strives to maximise the geographical and professional spread of participants. This adds to the learning experience of the participants and it is something we regard as a critical element in selection procedures. With this general framework in mind, the following is the target profile for an MBA-FSI candidate.

Requirements for admission are:

  • Academic education background.
  • Substantial amount of work experience.
  • Minimum age (for exceptional cases) 28 years.
  • Relevant management experience.
  • Mature personality.
  • Identified as a ‘high potential’ within the firm.

Pre-admission tests

For MBA-FSI we do not require specific tests such as GMAT or TOEFL. We prefer to evaluate you on a more personal basis:

  • Instead of taking a GMAT, we evaluate each application individually. We are looking for geographical and functional diversity that enriches and increases individual and group performances and experiences. Selection is based on a combination of an individual's managerial performance, leadership potential, internal motivations, personal characteristics, communication skills, international experiences and other managerial competencies.
  • We will test your level of English by means of an extensive interview during which we also discuss the applicant's motivation and managerial skills. In an occassional case it is possible that we have you take a written test. If your level of English does not meet standards, we advise you to take an English course.

The MBA-FSI programme is completely taught in English. All assignments and class discussions have to be done in English.
